The Tool Shed established the International Fugitive Investigations Program in 2009 in an effort to prioritize the investigation, apprehension and extraditions of offenders and sees to it that there is no safe haven for criminals who flee the territorial boundaries of the United States. When The Tool Shed provide assistance, 95% of targets are arrested and returned to the U.S., compared to 85% when we are not involved and the bonding companies loose all the money.
In a fiscal year Bounty Hunters arrested more fugitive felons and clearing felony cases – more than all other agencies combined. Working with other Fugitive Recovery Agents and law enforcement authorities at the federal, state, and local levels, The Tool Shed, Surety 3 Nationwide Bonding Network arrested more than any other state and local fugitive hunters.
Financial Investigations Unit
The Tool Shed Financial Investigations Unit (FIU) utilizes legal process and various sources to track a fugitive’s financial activities by analyzing debit cards, credit cards, fund transfers, and a host of other credit and banking transactions and information. Since its inception, FIU has been a tremendously successful tool used in fugitive investigations.
Surveillance and Technical Operations
The Tool Shed Deploying the most sophisticated technologies and Data available, the Surveillance and Technical Operations Unit provides investigative and intelligence support and management of data sharing projects with other agencies, fugitive task forces, bounty hunters, and agents. International Affairs Unit
International Affairs Unit (IAU) provides information and advice to bounty hunters, bail agents, insurance companies and general managers about the procedure for requesting extradition from abroad and the time involved in preparing a formal request can be very lengthy.
